DIRECTEUR.TRICE DES FINANCES
La direction des finances fait partie de l’équipe de direction de La Boîte à soleil et participe aux prises de décisions. Pour combler ce poste, nous recherchons un.e professionnel.le bilingue qui sera responsable de la gestion financière de l’organisation ainsi que de l’élaboration du budget, de la préparation des rapports et des rapprochements de fin d’année. Il.Elle utilisera ses compétences en raisonnement analytique, en pensée stratégique et en leadership d’équipe pour appuyer l’organisme dans le maintien et l’amélioration de la qualité des services de garde proposés en conformité avec le plan stratégique, ses objectifs, ses priorités et les politiques et procédures de La Boîte à soleil. ÉDUCATRICE/ÉDUCATEUR SUPPORT
La Boîte à soleil est à la recherche d’un(e) éducatrice/éducateur support pour nos garderies de la région du Niagara. L’éducatrice/éducateur support travaille en équipe avec les autres éducatrices et éducateurs du centre afin de fournir des services éducatifs et un programme d’apprentissage de qualité aux enfants inscrits à la garderie tout en respectant le code de déontologie de la profession et les politiques mises en place par l’organisme (3 jours de formation payée seront offerts).

ÉDUCATRICE/ÉDUCATEUR SUPPLÉANT(E)
La Boîte à soleil est à la recherche d’un(e) éducatrice/éducateur suppléant(e) désirant œuvrer auprès des enfants et des familles dans nos 7 garderies de la région situées à Welland, Port Colborne, St. Catharines et Niagara Falls. Cette position est sur appel et au besoin avec des heures variables.

At La Boîte à soleil, your aspirations can become reality! As Niagara’s largest French-language preschool center, we offer many ways to shape your future, whether in early childhood education, administration or as support staff.

We are looking for Support Educators, Floating Educators and Alternate Educators to support our 7 daycares across the region: La Boîte à soleil LaMarsh in Niagara Falls, La Boîte à soleil Saint Joseph in Port Colborne, La Boîte à soleil Empress / La Boîte à soleil Fitch / La Boîte à soleil Nouvel Horizon / La Boîte à soleil Franco-Niagara in Welland.

Substitute educators are responsible for occasionally replacing employees on sick leave, personal leave or vacation in all of our daycares, while floating educators are on full-time contracts.

Requirements
  • Possess at least a high school diploma;
  • Fluent in French, team player and positive attitude;
  • Be flexible as work locations and schedules may vary;
  • Be dynamic, responsible and passionate in your daily work;
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills and creativity;
  • Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a vehicle or be able to move around;
  • Ability to lift and move children, programming materials, daycare equipment and groceries (40 lbs/18.2 kg).
  • Provide proof of immunization, a criminal record for working in the vulnerable sector (issued within the last six months) and first aid certification.

We are also always looking for qualified Early Childhood Educators who are fluent in French and have pride in the French language and culture, who are committed to the well-being and development of children, have leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and work as a team player.
